Default how to tow a discovery

I am considering towing my disco 2 (2002 no ace) behind our RV and need advice from anyone who has done this before. I am considering a front wheel lifting hitch, or a full car trailer if I can't do it with the front end lift. Has anyone done this before. THe front end lift trailer seems to be the most economical. Any help would be great. Do I need to do anything special to the trans. ect.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Rovers are full time 4x4 so towing on a dolly could do some damage to your trans case/transmission. If you want to use the dolly to lift just the front end and tow it that way you will have to remove the rear driveshaft while it's being towed. A full car trailer will have no issues, but as you said will cost a bit more.

You either need to tow it with all four wheels on the ground or off the ground.
If you choose to do it with them on the ground then you need to put the transfer case in neutral.
All fours off the ground would be the best way to go.
