All the water in my neighborhood is gone, but probably 35% of Vidor is still under water due to the Neches River flooding it from the NW. Once that starts to go down Vidor will then dry out. The population is like 10.9k, but I'd have to say way more than half are completely homeless with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Power on the north side of town & the communications towers have been restored, but cell service is overloaded due to all the useage.
I'm still trying to locate a new CPS for my 99 D2 but all the auto stores remain closed from power loss, flooding, or no employee's to actually run them so it'll be a while & "maybe" the post office, UPS, and Fedex can start delivering again so I can order one online.
