Default hybrid burping method...

After replacing the heater hoses, I did the RAVE-recommended burping method, repeatedly. After that I then ran the truck at idle with the pressure cap off and with bottle elevated. Once it reached 180 I turned on the heater to high and ran it for about 10 minutes, mostly at idle, but with a couple of spurts of throttle. Kept the temp's monitored and checked to see that hot air was blowing throughout. After several fails over about a 6 week period at the strictly RAVE-recommended method, this time I finally have a truck without the waterfall behind the dash going on.

It ain't the recommended way to do this, but it worked.

That elevated method is EXACTLY how I do it.
Good job!

And it is how a Discovery I does it Automatically!
