Default Its burping

95 Disco I with about 150k on her. As of late she has been having belch like back fires when reaccelerating after coming to a stop. Won't necessarily do it at first start however. Also seems to be running a little sluggish and may be misfiring on occasion. Any ideas? I thought i would try to clean the injectors but knew i should check with you guys first. Thanks for the help

Possible carbon issue and even more so a possible burned valve. Might want to do a compression test to verify which cylinder may be causing the problem.

Burned valve doesn't sound good, expensive fix? If so anyone want a 95 Disco at a reasonable price?

Start by having your timing adjusted. You have a distribitor and they need to be readjusted once in awhile.
You will need a old mechanic, one with no hair and few teeth, only a well seasoned mechanic will know how to do this, the young guys fresh from school wont have a clue.
