Default I can't keep it up

I have a '96 discoand i am having a recent problem with the door locks. It started with the rear door. When I unlock the truck, all of the door locks go up as they should then the lock for the rear door falls down just slightly enough that I must use my key to hold it up as I open the door. Then three weeks later the drivers door started doing the same thing. Then two days ago when I lock the doors the drivers door PDL actuator started clicking very rapidly about a dozen times each time that the doors are locked. I've compared the lock mechanism to factory diagrams and everything looks to be intact. My initial thought was thata clip had broken loose that keeps the locks in the upmost position; with the new noise I am wondering if my actuators are going south and are the root of my problems. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Joel

Sounds like your door lock atuators are bad.
There is a really ood write up on here somewhere about rebuilding them yourself.
You can buy the electric motors on e-bay and rebuld all five actuators for like $30.

From the title of your post I think they just need a little Viagra.

I've replaced the actuators and the fast clicking sound has stopped; however the lock pulls still don't rise completely. I still have to use my keyevery time iopen the doors. Any other ideas?

When I use my remote to lock the doors, all will lock, but when I use the remote to unlock the doors two will not unlock. Do the two that do not unlock need to be rebuilt or replaced?
