Default I got one!!!

Well after a 6 month hunt i finally found one! Its an 04,s,with the sun roofs and 84k on it,service history and well taken care of.Truck runs out mint no problems. The only thing it came with one key fob and it dont work.I changed the battery and still nothing, and the small red light does come on.i can still arm it by putting the key in the door so its not really a problem. Also i would like to install a trailer hitch. What would be a good one to get and is the trailer light plug hidden somewhere or do i just tap into the light harness?
Nice to join the ranks!!!!!!

You can get pretty much any trailer hitch for the Discovery, it can tow a lot of weight. I forget the capacity, but I think it can tow like 7,000 lbs or more. When the tow package is installed, they also install the wiring harness for the trailer.

AB has the trailer wiring harness.

Land Rover Trailer Wiring Kit (Same Fit As Genuine Part # HIL-734) - Order Land Rover Parts At RoverParts.com

Your best bet for a hitch is to find a wrecked Disco 2 from a yard and pull it off yourself. That's what I did. D1 will not work.

You could also give Paul Grant or Will Tillery a call.

paulgrant@mac.com, or 203-770-1699
willtillery@roverguy.com, or 434-251-9331

Check your front drive shaft for u-joint grease fittings.

Get the Dexcool out and put in some aluminum safe green antifreeze.

I recommend buying the Ultra Gage.

UltraGauge Automotive Information Center and OBDII Scan Tool

Best $69 buck you can spend for a rover. Watch your coolant temperature and set the alarm for 220F.
