So 2 of my friends have got discos because they like mine, and I will be maintaining them for a small fee


It's frustrating starting all over (every thing needs to be done again)

but I was wondering... one of the u joints (front, on the front prop shaft) is just destroyed giving the prop shaft about 45 degrees of play (I **** you not)

I know that I need NEAPCO # 1-0005 but is there any other types I can see if the local autoshops have, before ordering off the internet?

I have to add that nothing is cooler than going somewhere 4 rovers in a row (one is an 04, the one is 1995 (mine), one is 1996, one is 1999 D1)

and all the maintenance is so worth it, even if it gets repetitive

 

Stay away from the neapco u-joints, use Spicer or Eaton.

 

whats wrong with the neapco U-joints? I perfer spicers myself but the drive shaft shop put neapco in my rover.

 

Didnt spicer go bankrupt bout a year ago? Thereby outsourcing their products???

 

dana bought spicer a long time ago...but yeah I think they had to restructure a few years ago.
