Default I have a problem with Discovery II clutch

Hello!
I have a question about the car LR Discovery II with 2.5 td5 engine. Is it possible, when changing the complete clutch, the friction disc to be mounted on reverse and to give unpleasant consequences after 1 year of operation in heavy offroad condition or the consequences will occur immediately after repair. If anyone knows the answer I will be glad to share it. Thank you!

You may have better luck on the Uk forums, we didn't get R380s after 1997 in the states.

your question would be better suited for a UK board, there are no standard DII or Diesels in the states.

When the friction disk isn't mounted properly, the problems will appear right after the installation. The main reason for difficult gear change is an existing failure in the slave clutch pump.

Good luck!
