These are supposed to be the best for light or deep snow. I will be getting a set in 16" for Angus this month

Somehow I doubt the stormtrooper would get stuck no matter what tires it had on it!

Just look at my avatar, buried up to the axles, all four wheels off the ground with water up to the bottoms of the doors.
I had to hike 5 miles in the rain to get help while my wife and son stayed with the truck.
Not a good day.
I need a Hi-Lift, I could have winched us out had I had one.
It is going on my Christmas list at the #1 spot.

A good wide treaded AT is your best bet, not a closed tread like the BFG' AT's, which are terrible in snow.
Go on line to the tire rack or Discount tire and look for a good open/deep treaded tire and it will work all year round.
If you still have snow issues, then you may want to consider up-grading your t/case to a CDL option which will give you an additional 50% more traction over your current ETC.

Default think I found a set

Getting a set of the same Mastercrafts which the post member from Buffalo recommended. I'm using them just for snow, though. We'll see how they do this winter. I guess they are designed just for winter.
Thanks all!

The key is that yu NEVER go off roading by yourself (meaning only one vehicle). I have known that since I was 16 with my first 4x4.

Besides, its way more fun when a group goes!!

Oh come on, You gotta give the BFGoodRich A/T TA KOs a little more credit, I think there a pretty good tire in the snow, I didnt get stuck one time last season, and i live up in the mountains of Colorado. I had a set of those puppies and they ran right through the snow. Although i didnt have my disco... this was my 1993 Dodge ram 250 LE Hmm... Personally i think the BFGS do great in my expierence.
