I wonder why sunroofs leak
how about blowing compressor air through it ? From under the car
Using compressed air with sunroof drains can sometimes cause them to rupture. If you have plugged/slow drains, I recommend using something like weed wacker wire and running down the drain to clean out any blockages.
The rear drain hoses ends are just about level with the rear brake light cluster, if you remove the lights it normally tucked in on the very corner, it does hand down but only a few inches, you can unclip it and it will just reach out of the light cluster opening so you can see any water drain out there is one drain hose on both the left and right rear lights
Last summer I spent a good while redoing my 2 sunroofs. Resealed everywhere, new tubes, new frames, etc etc etc.
This winter my rear sunroof was leaking. Again. I was so depressed about taking the headliner out yet again to figure it out. Finally opened the rear sunroof to see an approx 2" piece of stick laying perfectly on the seal between the seal and the glass. It was the reason for my leak. I couldn't see it from above or below with the roof closed ! So it's not always something super annoying.
I park outside in the PNW alot, and the moss covered trees here drop more crap, tiny moss bits than I'd ever thought possible. I now keep a little stiff bristle detailing lug nut brush in my Disco, so whenever I park under a cherry tree (or something else) dropping loads of debris, I simply clamber up on the rock sliders and get the debris out (before opening my sunroofs on a drive). Has helped immensely.

no, but cleaning that junk out keeps it out of the drains which does cause leaks.
