IAC Question
Reading the other post about replacing the engine and switching to old IAC. So, if the IAC is replaced by the dealer, what do they have to do after they replace it? Reprogram anything?
I know my throttle body was switched. I looked in the pictures I took before I picked it up and saw a yellow mark on the one that used to be in there and when I picked it up the bolts were loose. So, if they did not keep the same IAC, what would that do running wise for me?
I am the one having the problem when you start it, it runs for a second and then quits. I am going to check the fuel pressure and pump voltage tomorrow.

Yes, a new iacv needs the ecu reprogrammed, or at least 99 out of 100 times. My disco's sitting in my garage waiting 'til I get the time to take it to the dealer(2hrs away). It dosen't need to be the dealer, but someone with a T4 or Testbook.
When I spoke with the dealer today, they said they always reprogram the ecu when the iacv or tps has been replaced. Of course for the small fee of $125
