Has anyone had any experience using the iCarSoft LR v3.0 scanner with the Disco 2 ?
I have a 2003 Discovery 2 with a gas V8 4.6L engine. When I tried it on my car it couldn't autodetect the VIN. When I manually ran the diagnostic scan, it thought I had a TD5 diesel engine.
I had to send it back for a refund.
Maybe I got a bad scanner?

 

If you’re planning to keep your Disco you should seriously consider getting a Nanocom. They’re a bit pricey but very good.
