Default Ideas on intermittent brake lights?

Any weak spots to look first for a short? They work, they don't, the reverse and taillights work fine all the time, and the brake lights seem to work in low range, but very rarely in high. Thoughts?

I got a new brake light switch and changed it out. Still nothing. I have no idea where to begin looking for a short. Bulbs are good. Anybody else had this issue? Now they're not working at all under any circumstances.

look for broken ground wires, take electric spray and clean all conections, bulbs, etc.Half the time it is a bad ground, double check any fuses that could be related to the lites and spray them down, there may even be a relay thats going bad, I dont remember if there is one.

Thank you, nevermind, though, I have fixed it!
After cursing it loudly, threatening to throw my tools over a cliff, renouncing all religion and having an anyeurism, I gently pulled back on the brake pedal and it pushed the switch stopper up where it should be. They work fine now. I think it was the cursing that did the trick!
I love this site, I have learned so many things searching and chatting with people. Great group, I'm glad to be a member.
