Default idler pulley

has anyone bought a idler pulley from a parts store
if so do you have the part #

thanks... had to scoop the boy up off the side of the road tonight after the pulley
gave up, pulled a pulley off of my other son's spare jeep motor in the garage
just in case...worked perfect, jeep to the rescue again, i may leave it on there for luck

p.s.
the lesson here is when its yime to replace the belt
spend a few extra dollars and change the pulleys

I put a non-rover non OEM pulley on our Discovery I from Autozone.
I had to get it via the internet ordering.

That pulley has been on the engine for 30,000 miles.

Not cast - like the original.
But a cheap stamped pulley.

It seems to be OK tho.

If any one of the 3 pulleys fails, always replace all 3, especially if you have the early design plastic pulleys.
