heres my final observation, i like these pads, they are finally feeling like i think they should, i can feel them actively braking and are very clean. i havent cleaned the wheels in about three weeks and am impressed with the lack of dust on the wheels.

They brake very well.

If I had a complaint, i guess, on two occasions in the morning after a cold raining night, i noticed a very small squeel while backing up going very slow. I am attributing it to a light coating of rust on the rotor. but have never made a peep other than that.

As you contact what he thinks about running thes on a set of DBA rotors, if you get a chance.
Thanks
8 thousand mile update: these pads with stock Rotors have been doing quite well in the braking dept. no complaints, not as sticky as the OEM, but not nearly as dusty, in fact i find the need to clean them about every two months instead of every the three weeks with LR pads.

I have a complaint though...they are noisy in the morning, noisy backing up anytime, and noisy when damp. the OOEM were much more quiet.

I wont buy them again, they are good, but not impressive.

Next time i will go DBA rotors and sticky dusty pad that stops the truck on a dime.
