Default Immobilizer problem

So I have a 01 d2 and my girl first lost the original key so I got everything related to the security system outta another d2 with the key and it ran fine for a while but then the battery kept having a parasitic draw and kept killing the battery if left connected and then it just stopped starting after I parked it and shut it off. Only thing that is coming up on a scanner is the immobilizer but the security light is not on and I’ve tried everything to fix it except going into it on a fancy scanner that will be able to relearn the immobilizer due to not being able to afford one at the moment. Any info or help on getting this fixed will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I'm having the same problem with my 99 4.0 Thor V8, battery died due to parasitic draw, battery replaced, car refuses to start, no power to fuel pump, no spark.

Go to my profile and check out my recent thread on no-start issues. Lots of helpful info in there that might aid in solving this.
