Impending driveshaft failure - Are there any signs?

Will definitely keep you in mind on that, I really appreciate the help. Not sure where this one stands, it might be in perfectly good shape. Will find out tomorrow when I go look at it. I'm guessing it hasn't been upgraded yet, so even if it's in good shape for the drive home, I'll be looking to replace it soon.

The original drive shaft will have a grease fitting on the front universal joint and one on the tube itself but not at the double cardin end and that's where the usually fail. So just look it over real good and remember that the drive shaft fails most under heavy acceleration ( on ramps to highway, quick hard take offs) so on your drive baby it. After all it was not built to be a race car, but more a go anywhere machine.
