Improving stock suspension
Hello All,
My stock suspension is fairly noisy while driving on road. It sounds like old creaky springs. My best text representstion would be a “he-haw” noise when I roll over speed bumps along with high frequency chirps when hitting mild bumps in the road. I’m assuming new springs and shocks would resolve this issue. I don’t drive this thing off road (I know, how boring). But I’d like to restore the suspension to the way it responded when new. So if I get new shocks and springs I don’t think any lift would be beneficial (again, how boring). Thoughts?

Sounds more like bushings to me. Crawl under and check radius arm bushings, watts link, panhard bar, sway bars. Maybe check ball joints too even though they don't usually squeak. More clunky.
New springs and shocks will definitely help ride, but your springs won't squeak.

It seems like the most affordable way to get new shocks and springs is with the terrafirma 2" lift. It is $449. The cheapest gem replacement shocks that I have found are 75 each. Plus 125 each for coil springs! So OEM replacement is almost 800 dollars?! I wish I could find terrafirma gear for stock ride height.
