Hello everyone,
I need to find a good local independent repair shop in Houston (north houston prefered). We have an "04 and have been giving us some problems. The truck hesitates and 3 amigos are on. I feel the dealer wants to bend me over for the repair. Looking for a good, honest repair shop. Thank you in advance.

dealer says:
plugs/wires $1,285.00
shuttle switch $1,175.00
these are the two major problems.

For the hesitation, yes plugs and wires but that price is off the wall.
As for the shuttle valve, there is a repair kit for like $100 or so, plus labor.

 

plugs and wires if you do it yourself will be less than $200
