Where did you get/find the inline stat and what make?

Oh, the jiggle pin and hole always goes at 12 o'clock for venting purposes on all stats.
Here is the Stat I bought... using my amazon prime account!

Thanks France and CollieRover, but that photo is not mine! That is from the write up.

Here is the link to write up with all the parts suppliers.

Here are a few photos of mine. I used a upper radiator shroud that had a crack in it for test fit. I will cut a new one using an air saw, the grinder was a bit messy. I still need to get a hose that fits better from stat housing to bleeder assembly. Overall I am happy, drove around to day at an average temp of 179.

I didn't get to use my bling bling lower manifold, got it on the motor and realized it doesn't have the port cut for the coolant pipe, must be a GEMS of 14CUX manifold. I tried to show photos of the polished ridges on the valve covers, but I realize now that I probably did it for myself, at least I know they look good under all the smog stuff!

im 10 days out and this thing is running great! my temps are between 181-185 on ultrauage ! however Ive suspected a bad fan clutch and have gone through a couple fans and my new hayden setup has either been thrown away by a neighbor when I wasn't looking or its buried in my shop someplace but I have ordered a new fan ... a few days ago all of a sudden my temps shot back up and for 2 days were right back at 210 to 212 at stop light and 194-199 on high way... still not overheating but for my setup was TOO high... on further inspection when gassing up I felt of fan and there was a slight pit of wobble laterally almost undetectable but fan was VERY hard to turn... I believe it seized up .. I played with it for a minute going back n forth and it seems to be more freed up... now temps are way back down in low 180s.. i have a bad fan for sure! now last 2 days running cool... i picked up a used 2002 fan from lucky8 I will install and probably buy another hayden when i feel the need.. but for now.. its all cool running!

I do have one question for knowledge growth.... with this new mod chevy style setup, is it necessary to have heater on when bleeding system like we did with the oldies but goodies cars? I understand with the OEM setup its not necessary or at least I ready that...

I see you coated the exhaust manifolds, did you happen to shoot them with a thermometer before and after?
