Default Installing Mass Air Flow Sensor

Hello All,

Last week I posted a question asking about what type of mass air flow sensor to order, and today I placed the order through roverconnection.com. Could anyone tell me the steps to replacing it myself? It doesn't look to be a difficult job and much to easy to take to the dealer, unless I am mistaken. From the looks of it, I would think that you unhook the latches that connect it to the air intake (from the filter) and then undo the band that connects it on the other side and then disconnect the electrical cable that runs into the side (not sure how to do this, do i actually have to unscrew it off, or does can the cable be pulled out from where it connects?). Thanks for any input yall might have

Once you get it, have the hood open and are ready to replace it, I'll call you. Send me your number and go but a new air filter if the current one is old and dirty.

Okay I will let you know when I get it. I went ahead and got an air filter also.
