Default Installing raised bonnet decals

So I'm getting ready to put these suckers on. I was wondering if anyone knew what the distance was between the "LAND" and "ROVER" decals?

The hood still has an imprint of the old decals so I don't think it'll be too hard. Any other tips you might have?

I just measured 3-5/16" from the end of the 'D' to the beginning of the 'R'.

If you have not put on decals before, one trick I use is to squirt some soapy water on the paint area, so tthe decal can be moved around, peeled off, etc. Smooth out with wife's credit card (she don't need it anyway). Soap residue dries and helps the glue. I've put all sizes (like business signs, logos, etc.) on this way.
