I didn't measure before and after the sliders. I installed bumpers, winch, roof rack, armor all at the same time. My TF springs were not up to the task so I ended up going with the whole RTE 4"+ kit with Fox shocks (almost $3k) to handle the weight.

I just picked up a set of these. Looks like it came with 14 sets of nuts and bolts, 7 per side I'm guessing. However there are more holes in the rock sliders than nut/bolt sets. Am I missing some hardware or do you just not use all the holes?

Likely missing some hardware, you should install a bolt in every hole.

Did the instructions for the Terrafirma Rock Sliders ever get made? I've been searching the site but have yet to find them. I ordered a pair for my '04 Disco2 and was going to install them later on today.

I haven't made any up..no time.

Best to raise the sliders up with a jack and just drill out the holes a bit and install away!

Thats close to what I did. I jacked them up in place. Made sure they didnt interfere with the doors, marked the holes. Lowered them and drilled out the holes. One of the inside holes (each side) lines up with one of the body mounts, so I didnt put a bolt there. Mine didn't come with enough hardware. It came with 14 bolts, 28 washers and a mix of nuts and locknuts. I needed 18 bolts, got the 4 from HD or Lowes. I used locknuts on all the bolts.

If you have ACE you will have an acellerometer on the pass side sill that needs to be removed and relocated to the slider.

Heh guys, I have my plastic side trim off and trying to install my tree sliders tonight.

One thing no one mentions, on my truck, the outmost holes line up but I don't have any holes on the inside of the frame. The supplied hardware and fit of the slider looks like I have to drill those inner holes. Did you use a 1/2" bit for the inner holes?
