Instrument panel

My first posting, I have a 1997 Discovery TDi, I am having problems with the speedo, tachometer, fuel gauge and indicator signal light. Firstly the tacho went, then came back on, then the speedo went and came back on, then the fuel gauge stopped working, and sometimes comes back on. It is an intermittent problem, and I have had the instrument panel out, but nothing obviously wrong, I thought it might be loose wiring. Maybe it's the circuitry in the instrument panel.
Has anyone else dealt with this sort of problem. Any help appreciated. [:@]
