Intake/valley gasket/pan fitment

I don’t do negative reviews, so I will just say the Fel-Pro gaskets come in boxes. From intake to plenum to Rocker cover. I highly recommend molded rocker cover gaskets, unless you just Love a challenge that will drop metal ringlets into your valvetrain.

I use Fel-Pro or Mahle/Victor Reinz for ONLY 1 simple reason...… they WORK RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!

I can tell you not to ever use your finger inside a port on the head to try to align the gasket. The water jacket port in the front is a sharp as a razor. Ask me how I know. I dripped a lot of blood all over my valley pan gasket. On top of that I had to finish setting the lower intake manifold while the gasket tack was still workable. I really should have had a couple stitches in my right index finger, but instead I just glued it together with a type of super glue for wound closure. The subcutaneous tissue hurt for a long time after.

I’ve seen the Victor Reinz in a complete set, might go that route.
