Default Interesting discovery during windshield replacement. Water intrusion

Was having the windshield replaced and maybe a blessing in disguise the tech broke the new windshield just before installing it. After taking a look with the upper trim now removed I noticed this. I suspect I'm getting some water intrusion through here.

Suggestions on what to use to seal this permanently?

Hard to see in the pictures but there are cracks in the seam of whatever was used to bond the seam in the corners

Looks like factory seam sealer. Would not hurt to clean it up and reseal

Yep I agree. Wondering what product would be best to seal it

3m makes a seam sealer, some have used a similar product for exterior house projects.
