Seat belt buckle

My divers side seat belt buckle is stuck and won’t allow the belt to insert into the buckle. Anyone try to repair this or is it better just to order a new buckle?

Mine would get sticky and when you pressed the release button the buckle wouldnt pop out, I lubed the mechanism with Wurth hhs-2000 and it works like a dream again

Thanks all. I will try lubing it and see what happens. If I have to replace it, is there anything special I should be aware of?

Is it possible to replace just the buckle without replacing the whole assembly with the pretensioner?

Do you mean the part that the belt goes into? I replaced a rear belt and kept the original receiver without any problems, so I don't see why the reverse also shouldn't be possible.

There are lots of used buckles with the entire pretensioner assembly on eBay. Anything I should be concerned about with these used pretensioners?
