too. I've been thinking about removing them then clear coating them

 

Well I got the master cylinder rebuild kit and replaced it all and bled it properly and brakes are working fine and fluid isn't leaking at all. Now that issue is resolved, I still get the intermittent brake like on the dash that will flash on and off quickly. I'd say maybe 3-4 times in a 100 mile drive. I'm starting to think the sensor/cap is bad. Any thoughts

 

I ordered those Kingsborne Spark Plug protectors as well, but was shocked how long they were so I didn't use them. However they work GREAT for my 5/16 coolant hose running from the intake manifold to the coolant reservoir!!! I always bypass that horrible Throttle Body Heater Plate on all my Bosch engines and the 5/16 coolant hose runs across behind the alternator then over to the coolant reservoir. I was worried about it cracking due to the heat from the exhaust manifold, but those Kingsborne boots are perfect for that. I just used one and slid it down to where the most heat will be. Looks OEM and now my Bypass Mod is 100% complete.

 

Yeah, it being since the rebuild, probably the float going bad. You can try a junkyard pull, or new one, if not ridiculously high priced.

 

I had this same issue... swapped caps with my parts truck and that didn't fix it so I cut and soldered a new plug on it and that solved the issues.
