Default Intermittent loss of power steering

Recently developed an issue where I will lose power steering after about 30 mins of driving. The steering is heavy and gets very stiff on the highway at speed. RPM does not seem to make a difference. I see fluid moving in the bottle and no strange noises. I believe it could be the pump going but has anyone every heard of a steering box binding up randomly? Trying to get some ideas before I point the parts cannon at it.

What steering fluid are you using? How long since you flushed the system?

Well maybe start there. Replace with Pentosin CHF 11S. It's expensive, but it can make a huge difference.

Some more testing of this issue, not sure I am
loosing power steering but it more feels like something binding up. This seems to only
occur at highway speeds and mostly turning right. Once I get off the highway it’s binds up a little more then is fine on back roads at or under 40mph.
