Thanks for those Pages...
Man I cant find that page anywhere..
Is it in the workshop manual or the overhaul section??
For some reason I cant access the Transfer Case Overhall section of my Rave File???
Ok that looks to me that the Seal is what needs to be replaced.. if the output shaft housing gasket was bad I would probably see fluid coming out of the bottom of the Ebrake Drum instead of the middle where the Propellar shaft attaches..
Friggin Idiots at the Stealer, I called them to see if they had the part, yes, $29 I told them I coud get it for $17 they dropped the price to $24 so I got it, figuring if it was nice this weekend it would be nice not to have to wait, I asked them if I needed new nuts.. "No" they say
In the manual it says to replace rear output shaft retaining nut..
And now I remember when I did that Datsun tranny I re-used a retaining nut on it.. (it was crappy tin) and it ended up coming loose, I had to pull the tranny again and use one of a saccrificial tranny I had and beat on it after tightening it to Key it into a keyway..

I went through this when I replaced my t-case. You are right it is your output shaft seal. There is no gasket on the output shaft housing, and it wouldn't leak from the e-brake drum since it attaches more towards the front of the truck. From what I remember the retaining nuts are lock nuts with nylon in them so it would be better if you replace them. I also suggest you to remove the prop shaft by removing the four nuts instead of the clips. You need to take this part out anyway.
