Default Jammed Power Window

My 02 Disco driver side window jammed. It tries to go down, but only in the front. The back of the window will not move. To make things worse, it won't go completely up. There is about an 1/4 inch gap between the window and the frame.

Are there more that one motor in door? Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

My passenger side front window is doing the same thing. Mine is being caused by a broken window regulator which I hope to get replaced today.

There's only 1 motor in the door,
Sounds liketime for a new window regulator..

I had one of the plastic bushing's break.
While I was waiting for the new regulator, I modified a roller from a pocket door hardware (from home depot) to work in the place of the bushing.. Not a permanent fix, but, it worked well until the new regulator came in..

Can you not buy the bushing searately from Rover. I replaced the ones in my 95 BMW and they were like $3 EACH.

Not that I could find. Looks like you have to buy the entire assembly...
