So new development while driving (trying to) home. The car started once again going to a low idle and dying out while driving. If I keep my foot steady on the gas it will keep going, but as soon as I take my foot off, rpms go down and the it stalls out. I put a brand new IAC in and it is doing the exact same thing. I made it halfway home. Is it possible that clogged fuel filter would cause these issues?

Through all of this, it starts right up..... right now it starts, runs at normal idle for about 20 seconds and then dies.

When a DI wont idle it is normally the IACV, did you install a LR one or a different one?

Ok, the last 2 times a similar problem was posted one of them needed to make a trip to the dealer to have the ECU reprogrammed after they installed a new IACV, $100.
The other guy just needed a new IACV, which you already did.
So, how close to a dealer are you?

oh man, I had the adaptive values of the ecu reset about a year ago for a TPS, I hate giving them money..... I have spares of a bunch of sensors, I'm going to try the other MAF and changing the fuel filter and see what happens.... if I have it towed to the dealership, I'm sure they will find all sorts of "issues" that don't exist. maybe I'll look at the plugs too.

Well if it runs when you hold your foot on the gas then you dont need it towed.
So try this, start it and holkd your foot on the gas peddle and keep the rpm around 1,000.
I bet it runs all day that way.

hahaha.... I can sure try! Have you ever been to new jersey and seen how many traffic lights there are? I might try driving it late tonight. It actually gave me a code now..... P0451.... Adv. Evap. Gas Tank Pressure Sensor..... I think I need a new housing for my pump as well, I think that maybe this is causing the issue..... it seemed to run fine at half full before I filled the tank all the way.

I am kinda thinking the same as Spike here. Might need to get your IAC set by the dealer. Sounds to me like it isn't being read right.

Change your filter,a nd try to get your hands on a fuel pressure gauge, but I would say a trip to the dealer or indy shop is in order.

Left foot brake, right foot gas...and you can keep the rpms up around 1,000 all day long.

Call the dealer with your VIN# and see if your fuel tank was replaced under the recall that they had on them.
