Joying single din stereo. Anyone tried this one?

Looks pretty slick. Wondering if it will fit. Has anyone tried this particular unit?

Ive got the 7" unit in mine. It works pretty well. Keep in mind it IS a cheap Chinese head unit so its not super well polished around the edges. It does the job though.
I would go for the 7" if you can. The screen size makes a huge difference for maps and navigation
7" is the largest I can imagine fitting between the dash vents without having to space the screen off the head unit
I know at least 1 or 2 other people here have them. I think they have the 10" though

I would expect that unit to be very slow at 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The "cutting edge" Joying units are up to 4/64.
The primary issue with Chinese Android head units is heat. Anticipate them wearing themselves out in about 2 years due to their elevated operating temperature. There are also reviews that note they sometimes get too hot to use the touchscreen. On the other hand, functionality of a full Android unit will always be better than a Pioneer with Android Auto, and you can't beat the price.
TLDR: You get what you pay for.

Brainstorming here - but to your heat comment - the radio sits right in-between two air vents.
I wonder what the affect might be to drill a couple of small holes in the side of the vents so there is some air moving around the radio.

@NewToTheTwo With A/C on it might help, but the issue is the internals of units, getting too hot. To solve the heat issue - from another forum
Note they are cheap and the reviews are all over the place
So far I can't see any shortcomings in the Joying unit. They do have a tendancy to overheat but i stuck a couple of aftermarket heatsinks on it which dropped cpu temps by ~20-30deg.
all very well if your vents are blowing cool air, but if you have the heater going then it's going to exacerbate the problem.
Easiest install I’ve ever done
I paid $66 Canadian for this unit shippedfrom eBay. So far seems great. For the price I might I order a spare. I haven’t hooked up the included rear view camera yet tho.
it was literally just plug and play?
