Just bought an 04 Disco2 and my head gasket pops just weeks later. :( HELP!!!!!!

Torque is a fantastic app and used it as well.

Nah no new block for me, used the app and did my cooling system maintenance

Sounded like you were anti temp monitoring devices the way I read it

when I say ultraguage I really mean anything that you can monitor the temps.
Ultraguage seemed to be the choice a few years back

All seriousness if you like the rig and it’s got good bones I would drop 5-7 k on a new block and you will have a beautiful running machine
I’ve gone the route of buying used engines and got burned a few times they cost me

when I bought my 04 in 2012 it had aftermarket warranty and they covered a new block from Atlantic British that was a 9500 bill cdn from my local rover shop

I called the shop last year and asked how much a new block from ab plus install is they told me 11 k cdn
