just died

Default just died

So I went to start the vehicle this morning kinda hesitated to start, 10 min into driving and it just died on me, all spark plug wires look good. the truck turns over but will not start any suggestions as to what the problem is?

Bet you have a bad alternator, that is unable to charge your probably near bad battery, or if the engine turns over at it's regular speed and won't start the the crank sensor may be gone.
Go try to start it tomorrow, if it starts, it is the crank sensor.

Like Mike says, sounds like crank position sensor. When it cools off spark returns. You can pour cold water on to cool it off also, it is shown on attached pix, the sensor is bolted to the engine under a little cover (just follow the wire down), driver side rear of engine. If you DIY the replacement, be sure to draw exactly which bolts come from where and where the spacer is. Many have put in a new sensor, still would not start, because spacer was wrong.

You all are awsome! Have have many little problems with this vehicle due to previous owner and all my problems have been solved through this forum. Thanks disco mike and Savannah . 99% sure it is the crank sensor. thanks !!!
