Default Just got a Disco!

Hey everyone, I just got my first disco. Its a 2004 SE with 99k miles. Very clean, outside more than inside, and engine more then anything lol. The car checked out perfect from multiple mechanic opinions; however, the front drive shaft hasn't been rebuilt yet, thats something I'm going to do later this week for sure. I'm going under it tomorrow morning just to make sure, but nothing about it was on the carfax so I'm assuming it hasn't been touched. The small private dealer already changed the fluids, plugs and gave it a "tune up". It also recieved a new serpentine belt. I'm going to find out exactly what was done and supplement their work with the 60k tuneup list as soon as I get some free time, hopefully this sunday.

Future plans for this care are to keep it stock, the only "upgrades" I will be doing include a heated seat activation kit (panel and 2 switches) and a front driveshaft rebuild.

One question, the "SRS" light popped on today, it never went on at the small private dealer, or even at the LR dealer (one of the 3 places I had it checked out prior to purchase). It seems like every other time I start the car the SRS light goes on. Is there anything to worry about? The minivan I used to drive had the same problem, I think it was a clockspring in the steering wheel because it would go on everytime the wheel was turned hard to the left. We never worried about it, should I just ignore this?

Also, is there a good way to rid the car of a stale smoke smell? The previous owner was a smoker, the smell is present but not horrible. (it was a short term second owner) I'm going to have it detailed and the carpets cleaned, along with the headliner tomorrow in an attempt to rid the smoke odor.

Overall I'm EXTREMELY happy with this car, this is a HUGE step up and I'm very proud of it. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Congrats on the new ride.
As for the SRS light, start by buckling and unbuckling the passenger seat belt a dozen times or so.
the contacts inside the buckle get dirty and set off the light.
The next step is to look at the plugs down by the seat belt pre-tensioner, they get dirty/loose and can set off the light.
