did you replace the o-rings in the shuttle valve when you "changed" the shuttle valve

Any ideas where the most likely places this would occur?

bump for an old thread. I too have been recently been getting a single amigo with the hill descent simbol turning on. I've never had the 3 amigos. ABS and TC work fine. I tried searching for this, but no definitive answer came up.

I'm thinking a short or sensor issue, but don't know where to start looking.

PS: The Hill Descent button is not pressed. When I press the button a different light lights up on the dash. The one that lights up for me now is in the lower left. In the diagram below, light #27 is the one that is lit, not light #1 which lights up when I press the button

After rebuilding the module, did you actually clear the codes, 1590 and all or is it still on.

Hi,

I am not the original poster. I never rebuilt the module since I never had the three amigos.

My problem is that the hill control light lights up sporadically. Today it is off. Yesterday it was on. There are no CEL codes thrown.
