Default Help with steering

I have a 2001 D2. It came with a 2" tf lift. Previous owner had a D1 steering box on it. My local independent rover mechanic recommended a new steering box so I had a rebuilt d2 box, ball joints and an alignment done. Now the steering is REALLY sensitive and I'm constantly feeling like I am oversteering. I am wondering if the lift caused a change to the steering geometry that has made it less drivable now? I am also wondering if thats why the previous guy used a d1 box before.

Anyone else had a problem like this and if so, what solutions did you find?

Thanks,

Jason
