depends on what shaft you ordered. A GBR or tom woods no. If you bough the cheap one from L8 then either return it and get a woods or GBR or you can try and run it with a spacer I suppose. I don't have any experience with any other driveshafts. But I'd be very wary of the cheap L8 with any amount of lift...
The cheap L8 shaft is OK if you go in knowing you get what you pay for.
I installed one about 5 years ago and just now a U joint is starting to squeak... I suspect it is probably the center ball rather than a U joint as that is the part getting the least lube and right in the hot spot between the cats.
For under $200 I would consider it safe to use if you keep an ear tuned for any squeaks and keep it lubed with every oil change.
I will find out which part failed on Friday.
