I got a used 99 Disco II SE this winter, so far so good. But it has a lot of eletrical issues. (3 amigos (HDC/ETC/ABS), check engine soon, wipers goes on when i reverse, etc.)

My question is: Does anyone know what this controller is ???? it say Kelsey and the word Energize above it, has a Max to Min *** on the side for adjustment. The red light on the controller always goes on when i press the brakes.

I would guess it is a brake controller.

Is this normal? Is there something wrong with my ABS brakes? Any advise or knowledge would be great.

Rear wiper engage in reverse - This is by design as long as the front wipers are in any of their on positions (INT/LO/HI). If this is happening at any other time, my guesses would be a faulty wiper switch, or a faulty BCU.

The black box is a trailer brake controller.
