I believe it needs to turn clockwise.

Counter clockwise apparently, clockwise makes the key want to stay in. Got it, thank you! Sounds like the chip is moving around in there though, anyone else have this issue?

Stick some chewing gum in there to hold it in place

I haven't picked mine up yet, got it delivered to my Old Man's Shop. Picking it up Friday.

Ahh nice! I checked a couple days ago and they were STILL out of stock. Definitely ordering a few sets right now for stock..

After the other thread I finally ordered one of these last night. My factory key has been glued back together from the previous owner and came apart on me once. Just hoping a local locksmith can cut the key just fine

Not cut yet, I'm taking it to Lowes to see if they can. If not I'll find another place.
