Wound clockwise or counter clockwise?

 

I believe it needs to turn clockwise.

 

Counter clockwise apparently, clockwise makes the key want to stay in. Got it, thank you! Sounds like the chip is moving around in there though, anyone else have this issue?

 

Stick some chewing gum in there to hold it in place

Ahh nice! I checked a couple days ago and they were STILL out of stock. Definitely ordering a few sets right now for stock..

 

After the other thread I finally ordered one of these last night. My factory key has been glued back together from the previous owner and came apart on me once. Just hoping a local locksmith can cut the key just fine

 

I must have missed this other thread. Where do you get these, and what is involved?

And not much, put old electronics in new fob, put spring in and twist, screw down, get cut!

 

Zach, did you get yours cut? Any issues?

 

Not cut yet, I'm taking it to Lowes to see if they can. If not I'll find another place.
