Default Key issue! missing remote, mismatch locks. What's the best option?

I have an 01 disco. It's actually the company car but before I owned it, someone tried to break in and the ignition is pretty badly damaged. I have
two different keys for both the door and ignition.

Looks like I'm buying a new ignition switch, but is there a way to re-key the door to match it?

The door does not feel like it's actuated mechanically, rather the delicate feeling lock cylinder seems to be electronically actuated which then unlocks all the doors. This disco had keyless entry.. Remote is missing.

If I can't re key, I guess I'm looking at a factory remote and uncut key blank, and a new ignition, with a seperate door key, which would be very lame!

Also, if you have for a sale a matching set, let me know.

Thanks and any advice appreciated!

The key in the drivers door is mechanical (and it actuates the other locks electrically) so it's both. Yes you can get any lock cylinder recoded, contact your local locksmith(so you could recode the ignition cylinder to match the door, or match the door to the new ignition cylinder. If you have an existing door key it would be cheaper to pull the cylinder out of the ignition before putting it in and get that recoded). A remote is a handy item to have.

My first advice would be to stop stealing Land Rovers, go back to Honda already.
