The ignition isn't sensing that the tranny is in park or neutral.

Is the brake switch installed correctly? Transmission in park (silly question, but eliminating the obvious)? Have you been having flashing M and S lamps (XYZ/neutral safety switch problem)?

First things first, we need to know what year the truck is.
Second, pop the trim piece off of the top of the gear shift ****, tighten the nut in there a few turns.
The key should just come right out then.

The transmission is not going all the way into park and not releasing the key from the ignition. (DI)
If it is a DII it may be that or a bad switch on the transmission, like the XYZ switch.

Tighten that nut first.

Do you know what size is that knot, I tried with a 21 but ir's kind of loose, i already tight it up as much as I couls with the 21 but it seems is not the right size socket and a 20 mm would not go in. When I push the pin in the kew will come out but the chime keeps sounding and the shifter would not go to park, so until I find a fix I'l just leave the key in, beacuse it's a pain to disconect the battery every time I leave the truck. The key turns almost to the zero position do you guys think that will drain the battery???

That nut is in no way a 21mm, 12mm maybe but not a 21mm.
I do not know what size that nut is, try a SAE size and see if that fits.
