Default Kill Switch

Anybody successful do it to a DII? What wire did you tap into? Care to share your procedure publicly or over a PM ? I appreciate any feedback before I start R&D (hacking into wires)

Series in a switch with the inertia switch cables. Break that open and fuel pump won't run. Or break the black wire that is the ground return for the fuel pump. It is on a stud under the hood with the air suspension pump ground.

sounds like the best way, its not like you can just ground the coil in the old days.
also use those 3m scotch locks to make your connection there no cutting,
they just snap on and piece the wire.

My initial thought was the splitting off the inertia switch. Thanks, Buzz. I was hoping you would answer this one.

there are places in Philly where you have to take the engine block inside each night, lots of good shade tree mechanics on those streets.

Luckily I'm in suburbia. My profile says Philly, it makes me feel cool

The new thing around Philly is catalytic converter theft. Those drugged-up bastards just hack 'em right off. Parked cars and dealerships. Unbelievable

One more thought. How much amperage flows through the inertia switch? This would dictate the size of switch. Under/Over 30A?

That's happening a lot in California too. California restricts many vehicles to OEM Cats, so they are unaffordable, thus the theft. Only thing is, it's also illegal to sell a Cat in California unless you are a licensed dealer. Can't even sell them to the Scrap Yards anymore. Kinda like the Drug Trade in California. Laws up the Ying Yang about not doing or selling them, but the crooks don't normally follow those nice laws.

Gun Laws are similar... Did I actually just say that out loud???
