Default Knock sensor / fuel pump

Hello,

could use some help, this morning i woke up to my rover running with a check engine light.

i noticed the vehicle vibrating at 30mph while pressing on the gas. i had the code read and its a 332 knock sensor. after reading from the forum i understand that the sensor is mainly to detect vibration?

I'm saying this because i believe the vibration is coming from a faulty fuel pump. 2 months ago i had my 04 land rover disco die on me with what i thought was a quarter tank of gas and it turns out the tank was empty.

I've kept my tank above 1/4 tank ever since until this morning, it was taken out and i think the fuel pump may be going out.

Could this cause the knocking sensor to trigger?

Lean conditions can sometimes cause knock sensor codes. I would check the fuel pressure for sure.
