Default Knocking sound from front of car

Hi guys, my 2000 Disco II (84K) has recently started making a knocking noise when i rock the steering from left to right while driving. I can feel it under the floorboard. I recently spent $2K doing a bunch of stuff to it, including all the U-joints and the tranny mounts. Is this the CV joint or could it be something else?

Look into all the steering gear.
If it were a bad CV joint it would "click" when making a hard turn, like when parking and you would here it either left or right front wheel.
