Default Land Rover discovery 2 TD5 Auto M & S & D Lights Flashing

Hi I Have Land Rover Discovery 2 Bought The Car With M & S Lights flashing and battery goes dead if left for a day or 2 either way each time I jump start it and they still come on but tonight I jump started it they went off car drove lovely but turned off after 10 minutes either way battery went dead again so I jump started it now they have come back on anyone have any solutions Tia

Have your battery load tested. Check battery terminal connections, they must be tight and clean of corrosion. Lights are on because of poor battery voltage.

You need a replacement XYZ kit, these are availble on line. The XYZ is on the nearside of the gearbox, it is the gear selector and often has oil and **** penetrating it. It can be removed and cleaned but on mine my son bought a new XYZ kit online and replace the insides quite easily.
