That is BAD ***!!!! I can see how it is achieved...but making it practical and affordable to mass produce. I bet you could see that in the next 3 to 5 years in production vehicles.

I agree. I think that this will be the next big thing that will keep Land Rover in a class all it's own. The future holds great things!

Too bad Land Rover made all the cars (yes, cars) uni-bodies with independent suspension.

Its a cool feature though. It's definitely overkill imo for any Land Rover now.

How in the world are they going to keep that camera clean though? I mean, 5mph on a dirt road is fine, but what about when it rains with MUD?

You might miss something in the road if it gets covered!

Well the announcement of the new Land Cruiser in 3 trim lines (LC 1958, LC, LC First Edition) has been all over the car/off road forums today as well as YouTube.

Here is Toyota's official product announcement (fast forward like 5-6 min to get to the start of the video):

The base LC1958 trim sounds like an attempt to appeal to purists who will actually use their LC's off road. Final pricing not yet in, but despite the suspiciously ND like round front headlights, they're not competing w/ the ND on technology or luxury it seems.
