... just take the time now to clean clean so you have a nice surface to build on!
As far as water pump order the pump with the larger impeller for more flow.

Sorry man drow is right like always there is no better time for that stuff he mentioned.

pls. test your hardline coolant lines for cracks all around. check t-piece and screw. check the throttle body heater for leaks as well. stock and mod solutions for both.

I think that the head gasket kit comes with a new throttle body heater and gasket if I remember correctly, so you shouldn't need to order anything extra.

The only other things I can think you may want to check are:
(1) the front drive shaft to make sure it has zerk fittings to grease the u-joints.
(2) you might want to check oil pump gears for cracks. (Warning: Don't forget to prime the gears before you put the cover back on so that is dosen't burn up on restart.)
(3) The Crank Shaft Position sensors on these things seem to fail around 100K. Many people including myself have been left stranded on the road because the CPS went out. FYI- The CPS is not something that has to get done while the heads are off but the Plug is kind of hard to get to with everything together. It can wait though.

Or add a extra ckps to your tool bag or extra parts compartment. I think the left compartment is for tools and the right is for spare parts lol would not work on a se7:-(
