leaky power steering pipes

Default leaky power steering pipes

hi all, just noticed today that the pipes under the radiator were leaking fluid any idea how much they are to replace and can or is it worth it too put on second hand ones,i lookes like a 3 hour job too fit them,nae luck there then..

If the leak(s) isn't to bad you might want to try valvoline power steering fluid with stop leak. There have been people on this forum that have tried it and have experienced good results.

How many miles on your truck? If you at 100,000 miles plus then replaces all 3 hoses and do it right.
Some of the stop leak products work on piping and seals,not hoses. UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS MAKES THE BEST HYDRALIC STOP LEAK WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.

theres 84000 on the clock, there well corroded so ive spoke to my local garage and the guys going to replace the pipes, its costing 200 quid so its getting done tomorow before it gets worse,thanks for the replys.
